Zaid has over 17 years of diversified experience in the leading positions in project management, planning & project controls, delay analysis & claims management in numerous roles including but not limited to:

• Claim consultant / delay analyst (schedule impact analysis, retrospective / prospective, EoT entitlement, compensation etc.).
• Disruption analysis (schedule disruption analysis, project specific / project comparison / industrial study / cost-based method).
• Expert witness support services for adjudication / arbitration, collation, and presentation of data through tables, charts and narratives together with schedule impacting etc.
• Lead planning engineer / senior planning engineer / planning manager / project controls manager / project controller & contracts manager.

Zaid major expertise and achievements in project management include:

• Estimation, tendering, proposal preparation, budgeting and procurement.
• Project planning (including the use of planning software i.e., P6) incl. weighted method of progress calculations (EVA, SPI, CPI etc).
• Disputes management / resolution, contractual analysis, and code interpretation.

With over 17 years of experience in the construction industry and delay / disruption analysis support services on claims of different sizes, Zaid has detailed knowledge of the techniques and skills required to undertake detailed forensic analysis. Having worked extensively with Experts and Councilors in a variety of different construction disputes, Zaid has hands on experience of the processes involved in many dispute resolution methods involving adjudication, arbitration, and litigation.

During the course of the time, Zaid has carried out many different types of delay analysis including, but not limited to, as- planned versus as-built, time slice window analysis, time impact analysis, as-planned impacted analysis, supporting claims for extension of time. These have been supported by written reports capable of withstanding cross-examination.

Zaid is basically a seasoned project planning, monitoring and control, and management professional. Having gained excellent experience on various medium to large scale projects, Zaid is well versed with providing comprehensive projects progress measurement tools including establishing detailed baseline programs, planning packages and complete solutions to be used / implemented for comprehensive monitoring of the projects throughout their life cycles.

Zaid has diversified work experience in multicultural environments within various fields of work such as proposal budgeting, construction and project windup practicing scheduling, monitoring, and controlling large as well as small scale projects comprising of multidisciplinary activities like civil, structural, mechanical, piping, HVAC and E&I work in Oil and Gas and Civil / Infrastructure Projects.
