I offer remote PLC programming and HMI/SCADA design services focused on improving the reliability, clarity, and maintainability of existing automation systems. My work typically begins with a structured review of your current PLC logic and HMI applications, where I assess code quality, tag and UDT structure, fault handling, and operator interface usability. From there, I provide detailed recommendations and, when approved, implement changes such as refactoring and documenting ladder logic or structured text, breaking large routines into logical modules, cleaning up unused tags and code, and tightening up interlocks, alarms, and diagnostics. On the HMI side, I redesign or create screens with clear navigation, consistent graphics, and meaningful status and fault information so operators and maintenance can quickly see what is happening and what action is needed. I can also assist with standardizing alarm philosophies, adding trending and basic OEE or downtime visibility, and aligning your applications with site or corporate standards. All services are provided on a contract basis, with the scope, hourly or project rate, deliverables, and communication cadence agreed upon in advance. I work remotely, and provide documentation and backups so that your team is not dependent on any single individual for future changes or troubleshooting.
