Mari is an artist and illustrator specializing in gouache and acrylic paintings. Rich in color and metaphor, her work tells stories that celebrate life, love, friends and family in all their various modern forms. Adventures with her children, memories, dreams, fables, and the occasional song lyric, inspire her to spend each day painting. Mari Dieumegard was born in Alaska and raised in Juneau. She moved to Maine in 1994 after receiving a scholarship to attend the Maine College of Art, and graduated in 1997. Now the creative force behind Raven Roost Studio, Mari’s work can be found in personal collections across the United States.
