Hi, I am Ashish. I am a final year mechanical engineering student. I am doing my Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University. I am an enthusiast to work on innovative problems and to find solution for complex issues using domain concepts. I will not only model the 3D products but work on the overall product design and development. I have developed design perspective and optimistic thinking point of view because of the plenty of product developments. What I can offer? About my background – I’m passionate Mechanical Engineer with keen interest in automobile design. Over last three years I was participating in BAJA SAE. BAJA-SAE, tasks undergraduate engineering students to design, fabricates and validates a single-seated four-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) able to withstand the harshest terrains. Also, I was a Jr. Design Intern in FlowCode Pvt. Ltd. for the duration of 1 month. Since last 3 years I have been using MATLAB, Ansys, Solidworks and Catia V5. In Solidworks I have good knowledge in 3D modelling, FEA (static, dynamics, thermal), Multibody Dynamics (MBD) and Computation fluid dynamics (CFD). I have Analysed drag and lift performance in ATV models using CFD, assembled all the subsystems and prepared the final ATV assembly in Solidworks. Other than BAJA I have also done several projects on Solidworks like MBD on a Piston assembly, MBD on IC Engine Valve Train, Flow through Flow bench, Centrifugal pump design and analysis. In Matlab I have good knowledge in programming, optimization tools, and basic knowledge in Simulink. I have done dual level genetic algorithm for custom made CVT, program for mass optimization for two stage gearbox, Rankine Cycle simulator, echo generator, etc. I have also hand on experience in manufacturing process like CNC Lathe, VMC, drilling machines, hydraulic press and casting. I have good hands on CAD design tools like Catia, SolidWorks, Matlab and Ansys. I am dessaults’ systems certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA).
