I have been helping people realize this vision for the past 7 years taking their concepts and turning them into a reality. For the past 3 years I have been working with Stanley Black and Decker where I routinely designed plastic, metal and composite components using a variety of manufacturing techniques. I have worked in many CAD packages and have a license for Fusion 360. I have extensive experience designing prototypes of complex electro-mechanical systems ranging in sizes from small drills to ride-on lawnmowers. This includes the plastics, metals, motor selection, battery sizing and selecting off the shelf components when a ground up PCB design wasn't needed (or there wasn't time).
Prior to Stanley Black and Decker I co-founded a company called SolePower, which created power generating insoles. At one point or another I wore every hat in the company. We raised over $1 million securing VC funds, angel investment, institutional investment and government grants. We moved from initial concept through to small scale production of the product. I have a very wide range of experience from this and am happy to share with any I work with.
I recently left Stanley Black and Decker to relocate and decided to give Guru a shot during my transition. If you are interested in working with me, I would be happy to hop on a call sometime and learn more. My goal is to not only successfully execute your project but also add value through out the process.
