I have a professional sound booth, fully sound-proofed and insulated. I use an AKG-P420i microphone with a Scarlett Focusrite 2i4 sound card for my recordings. I use Audacity and Adobe Audition for editing and clean-up. I also use the same software to mix background jingles into my voice overs, should the client need it.

Depending on the word count, I can do 2000-3000 words, right from proofing the script, recording, editing and clean-up within 2 days. Audiobooks of 70,000 words would require a week, depending on my schedule.
