Dear Sir/Madam: I am a program manager and freelance translator (English into French or French into English). I am a contract program officer in the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) where my responsibilities include planning, developing, and administering professional projects for international leaders and policy decision makers in civil society, democracy and the rule of law, economic development, international trade, entrepreneurship, finance, the media, arts and other key fields. I assist and conduct large and complex meetings between foreign decision makers. I am in touch with an extensive network of international decision makers, with New York City and New York State officials, and with Department of State officers. Finally, I am fluent in English, French (my native language), and Italian. The objective of my work is to build lasting relationships between people of different countries and cultures, so I have experience in grasping the nuances and bridging the distinctions between cultures.
