Developed application management software in C running on Linux. Also developed peer to peer checkpointing system composed of daemons running in Linux. Both of these were part of a high-availability middleware suite used in telecommunications computers. Designed and developed SNMP MIB and extensions an open-source SNMP agent. This solution provided a remote interface into racks of single board computers. The agent written in C and ran on Linux. Worked for internet startup tracking vehicles over the internet using GPS data. Responsible for writing message processing code sent from servers into tracking device. Also developed several applications to test tracking device features as well as pull up reports from an Oracle database. Used 68K C, Visual C++ w/ MFC, and a bit of Visual Basic. Developed embedded control software for mobile military network. Wrote BSP, device drivers, and control logic. Successfully integrated a third party TCP/IP stack into the system.
