I design and implement web applications, primarily those with significant client-side user-interface or application logic, backend data, and reporting requirements. Most notably, I've been the sole implementor of about a dozen web-based interactive surveys, most involving drag-and-drop graphical manipulation. The largest of these was a million dollar project for one of the major US wireless providers. I wrote an ADO/ASP intranet application for a bank that accessed an existing database, but was designed to be taken offline by passing the data as XML. I was for a time the sole maintainer and developer of a real-time boardgame site with 100,000 members. I'm currently working on an interactive chess exercise for the web. I have done applications programming on Windows in C++ and Java. I was the only programmer for a couple of years working on the core of an ad-blocking HTTP proxy server written in Java. Modern browsers provide a capable platform for a wide range of applications.
