For the past year, I have written ASP.NET web applications that integrate with MS SQL Server 2000. I have done all of the database design and implementation as well. Some of the projects have been re-writes of existing legacy systems, and some have been newly developed systems. Projects that I have worked on have been internal applications hosted on the company intranet and used by our staff. Also, for the past year I have worked as a database administrator assistant. I share the daily database duties with our DBA and perform his duties when he is away. These duties include managing permissions on database objects, importing/exporting objects and data from test to development systems, monitoring alerts and notifications, and creating and monitoring maintenance plans.
