Developed suite of web-based applications using IIS, VBScript, JScript, XML, MS Project Central, SQL Server97/2000 and third-party ActiveX tools for use by multiple Fortune 500 companies in identifying strategic cost reduction initiatives, identifying and tracking process cost reduction projects and the cost savings derived from those projects, and capturing and cataloging best practices. The project identification and tracking application utilized a hierarchical drill-down approach in the reporting of the cost savings data. The reports showed the total savings for the Enterprise at the top level view, and allowed the user to drill down through the organization hierarchy down to the project level. I redesigned the reporting structure into a modular framework that decreased the effort to implement and maintain reports by an average of 70%.
