I’m currently employed as a Project Estimator for a Kinsley Construction Inc. located in the DC Metro area. Engineering News Record (ENR) once again named Kinsley on the "Top Contractors" of the Mid-Atlantic Region for the year of 2018, coming in at #16 and achieving over $550Mill in revenue for 2017. I provide estimates for commercial projects in the government sector, multi-family, industrial, pre-construction, warehouse, data center, transportation, manufacturing, ect. Most projects I work on range anywhere from 50,000 Sqft to 300,000 SqFt (roughly $1Mill to $100Mill). My daily responsibilities consist of analyzing blueprints, understanding specifications, compute cost based of architectural drawings provided, receive competitive pricing from subcontractors, put together aggressive pricing, provide client with best pricing and set the standard of successfully meeting our clients expectations. Our local competition consists of general contractors such as Turner, Clark, HITT, Davis, Holder, DPR and many more. I have experience with multiple takeoff software's such as On-Screen Takeoff, iSqFt, PlanSwift, BlueBeam REVU and Sage (Timberline).
