Mabel Lau is a responsible, hard working, energetic and eager-to-learn person. She has a diversified working experience, resulting in acquiring good project management and video production skills. Mabel has worked as a programmer for about 10 years after graduating from Monash University (Australia) with a B.Sc in Computer Science. After the Internet bubble was busted in 2001, Mabel turns to filmmaking, a passion she has had since her teen years. She was taken under the wings of a local documentary filmmaker Ms. Tammy Cheung. Ms. Cheung taught her the basics of filmmaking, from transcribing (transcribing dialogues of raw film footages), to being a Production Assistant, Cameraman and finally a Video Editing. Mabel worked on multiple video projects as a Production Assistant, Cameraman , Video Editor and Assistant Producer. She has worked on mostly promotional videos for different organizations/companies such as Dragon-I, The House of Dancing Waters (???), Macau Grand Hyatt, Macau Rocks Hotel Splash Party, City of Dreams Macau, Hong Kong Examination and Assenement Authority, The Hong Kong Institute of Architets, Discovery Channel Jacky Chan Special alike.
