I love data entry jobs and proof reading, however i can emberk on more tidious jobs that are IT based. I'm a computer enginneer specialized in networking. My skills include: a. Installing E.T.R. and POS (Point Of Sale) and troubleshooting. b. Enterprise Networking, Researching and Organizing developments to ICT Systems, including Commissioning of new work stations and Hardware. c. Information Systems Security. d. Managing and Maintaining an efficient Data Backup and Recovery regime and ensuring appropriate levels of Access are Maintained. e. To Conduct regular reviews of the Organization use of ICT, and identification of users’ needs, planning the appropriate prioritization of tasks and devising service plans so as to ensure continuous improvement of the ICT facilities. f. To liaise with outside agencies with regard to range and availability of ICT equipment and resources and development of the network. To research ICT agencies and suppliers to ensure value for money in purchasing resources. g. Managing the ordering of new and replacement of ICT equipment and resources in accordance with the agreed ICT budget ensuring adequate stocks of ICT resources are always available. h. To develop and advice on the operation of the organizations network in order to achieve the maximum efficiency. i. To monitor the use of Copyright material including ICT Software, to maintain the Copyright records and all Program and Hardware Licenses. j. Operate a Booking System for ICT facilities, establish and be responsible for maintenance of an inventory of ICT equipment so as to ensure all ICT resources are accounted for and their whereabouts within trace. k. Monitor and Regulate the use of Internet, ensuring the necessary Firewalls are in place to prevent internet abuse. l. Liaise with the internet service provider where unsuitable sites are discovered to ensure that they are promptly removed and made inaccessible. m. Ensure that adequate Virus Protection is maintained on all Hardware and is kept up – to – date. n. To maintain Confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking Organizations duties. o. Responsible for my own continuing self – development, undertaking Training as appropriate. p. Undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required. q. To Supervise and Manage the ICT support Technician, with involvement in the recruitment and selection if ICT staff, also in the Appraisal and training of such staff.
