I was known as The Grammar Queen at my last place of employment, and i was the go-to person with questions on how to write something "just right." I am an excellent, thorough proofreader and notice mistakes all the time when i'm reading. I co-wrote a book about alternative education at my last job. I am a college graduate, having majored in French and Spanish, but i don't proofread those languages. I have been retired for six years from my position as a Senior Executive Assistant for the Orange County (CA) Department of Education where i worked for 13 years but continue to maintain my home-based business doing medical transcription for an orthopedic surgeons' group, which i have done for ten years.
