Proofreading is the final stage of editing your work, just before it is published.

What I do for you is is perform a thorough review to make sure it is as error free as possible. My markups are suggestions and are easily seen in Microsoft Word and Google Doc. It is left to your discretion to make the changes permanent.

Using Microsoft Word and Google Docs alone will not be enough to make sure your work is free of errors. You’ll need a set of human eyes to check your work and make sure that nothing is overlooked, such as homophones.

Other things I will look for include: spelling, incorrect use of punctuation marks, double words, missing words, typos, formatting inconsistencies, subject-verb agreements, properly written numbers, capitalization, and grammar.
