I am a marketing professional who specializes primarily in the Software industry with a level of competency in other IT industries such as Hardware and Services. Unlike most of my other colleagues that I have had the privilege of working with, I am not an escapee from the steno pool. I have a degree in International Business and a Minor in Computer Sciences. I have dedicated my career to results-oriented marketing in the IT world with a keen eye on business development. Marketing is not simply spending money and making pretty pictures. Marketing people, especially in the IT field, need to understand that there are different vertical markets and target audiences within those markets - all needing or wanting something different. It's up to the marketing folks to determine what the product, service or company he or she works with or for does that addresses those needs and deliver this message in a creative way with enough impact that the resulting revenue outweighs the required expend
