I have been providing full time English (UK)-Malay translation and editing/reviewing services since 2009. Due to my past employment in a few different work sectors, namely medical services and public administration, I have gained some useful experience in writing, reviewing and translating various kinds of documents and this has helped widen my repertoire of field-specific terminology. I started out by undertaking translations of technical documents pertaining to public health and graduated towards translating subtitles of television shows before branching out to marketing, medical, IT and tourism-related subjects. I also volunteered briefly as a translator for an up and coming social learning network in order to hone my skills and learn new terms. I have used translation software application tools such as Wordbee and XTM in past projects.
