Mr. Elmasdere has more than 20 years project management experience in Renewable Energy sector with extensive business development experience on Hydro, Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Biomass Renewable Energy sources. He has full knowledge of legislative, regulatory, energy law, regulations and legislations. He has built up a significant respectable society and experience among governmental authorities and all private sector stakeholders like owners, investors, engineering and consulting companies, contractors of every branch and services of the energy sector in Turkey. Emin Elmasdere is currently an Independent Renewable Energy Consultant based in Istanbul, Turkey, since November 2016. Previously, he served as Director - Renewable Energy at Ozgul Holding from July 2015 to October 2016. In this role, he worked as Director of both Renewable Power and Business Development Departments, directly committed to the Board of Directors. He successfully executed follow-up and coordination of all the works related with providing engineering services to 68 Wind Power projects developments (3.244 MW) whose applications have been submitted to EMRA (EPDK Energy Market Regulatory Authority) and 50 Solar Power projects (1.000 MW) under development for a customer, a leading holding company of Turkey. He achieved follow-up and coordination of all the works belonging to 11 Wind Power projects (516 MW) and 31 Solar Power projects (620 MW) developments also for the company. Prior to that, he was Business Development and Investments Manager at Goltas Energy Company from January 2010 until June 2015. Here, he worked as directly committed to Board of Directors, responsible from every matter of the company except accountancy. He executed project management of Esen-1 Dam and Hydroelectrical Power Plant (HEPP) project in Fethiye with 60 MW capacity which had 700 meters head. Previously he had succesfully achieved taken into operation 3 other Hydro Power Plants at Yildizlar Energy Company and again at Goltas Energy Company. Together with the ones above, for several other Hydro Power projects, both at sites and central offices he had also performed management of works such as; engineering design, specifications, unit price descriptions review, managing contracts, contractors, subcontractors, progress payments, reservoir expropriation, at sites dam fill embankment, civil works, water intake, hydraulic structures, channel, tunnel, construction works, penstock, powerhouse, electrical works, power transmission lines, electro-mechanical works, turbine, generator, transformer, switchyard, switchgear, investment costs determination, construction budget control, financial model analysis, project finance loan, bank and governmental authorities relations, regulatory and legislative permissions, licences, design approval, Ministry of Energy provisional acceptance, plant final acceptance.
