With no prior technical knowledge regarding servers, I researched and learned the process for creating a web server specifically designed for use with my former company's home automation system; I then documented the entire process, as well as the process for cloning a finished server for fast replication, in an internal guide using Microsoft Word. The document is fully navigable through embedded bookmark links in the table of contents. The document is available in my work samples. I was also part of a two-person initiative to overhaul the installation guides for the home automation hardware; the entire process moves in four phases from initial design to completion. Visio, NetZoom, and Excel were used to design a guide for each phase specifically tailored to a particular client (Visio allowed us to pull data from an Excel spreadsheet).
