In the course of my career, spread over 44 years, I have had multifarious experiences comprising HRD (including training of civil servants and private sector executives), TQM (including Quality in Government), institution building, corporate and NGO sector (textiles, in particular), judicial assignments (e.g. member of Central Administrative Tribunal), parliamentary procedures and practices (as Secretary-General, Rajya Sabha and, before that, Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs), editorial assignments, and electoral work (including conducting election to the post of President of India in 2012).
