Robert Toole is the owner of Starboard Communications, a telecom consultancy. He has more than 30 years of experience in the
telecommunications and networking industry. He is knowledgeable in UNIX and PBX systems; IVR, ACD, CAS, CTI, VOIP, and Call Center Centric
systems. Previously, he held the position of Senior Telecommunications Engineer at AT&T, and Senior Network Architect at Nokia Networks, where he was involved in 802.11 wireless networks and supported Nokia Networks. He has held senior technical positions at NCR, Lucent, and Avaya. He is a member of the Avaya Consultant Relations program, and a registered partner with Cisco, Juniper, 3COM, Hewlett Packard, Intel, and other leaders in the telecommunications industry. He is a participating consultant in the Council of Tech Media Telecom Advisors, a unit of the Gerson Lehrman Group.
