Kelly is currently working as a freelance copy editor in New York City. He will complete an editing program at NYU in April 2013. He has experience proofreading and copyediting material related to marketing, social enterprise startups, branding, website development, and design. In addition, Kelly has an extensive background working in the legal field (e.g., trusts and estates, intellectual property, real estate) and in the creative arts.Kelly has been an actor and theatre professional for over 20 years. He has taught acting, theatre history, stage combat, Shakespeare, and improvisation at places like Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee, and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. In his early years, he worked as a set and lighting designer, crew chief, and shop foreman.
