Brainrub: Brainrub is an ongoing consumer electronics report website. It's recently run a bit behind schedule but it's all posted via a customized set of PHP scripts hitting a MySQL database. The contributors live all over the US and Canada. I worked on several sites for FedEx in the US and Canada while working for Digital Cement Inc. in Toronto. These sites encompassed a great deal of back end functionality in the form of numerous consumer surveys and other feedback methods, fed via javascript-enabled HTML forms. Several elements of the functionality had to be similar in style to a typical standalone application but served via html and javascript. This involved some very complex javascript. All of the code was written, tested and deployed inside of one month. Back end functionality was ASP/VBScript fed from an SQL Server database. fSONA I worked as the lead developer for the fSONA website from 2001 to 2002. The entire website is delivered using PHP fed from a MySQL database.
