I studied Computer Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (former TU Karlsruhe) and graduated with a German Diploma (~MSc). I draw from over 13 years of experience in creating interactive frontend applications both for fixed installations and for the web. I used many different programming languages and APIs over the span of my career. With this knowledge my focus lies more on the general principles behind software and UI development than on specific frameworks. However, I’m always curious about new trends and follow the hot topics in the software world. My favorite working style is “test-first” development I like to start with the tests and then write the actual code. I also like to work with statically typed languages (e.g. TypeScript) and my favorite programming language is Haskell. I use automatic code-linting and I’m a follower of Clean Code practices. I’m located in Eindhoven, NL and thus I prefer projects within 2h driving distance where I can do most of the work from my office, which is equipped with modern Apple hardware and a fast fiber-optic symmetric line.
