K.Mahmoud is a senior structural Engineer with 12.5 years’ experience in analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures based on different codes such as BS, UBC and ACI codes. He has worked in multinational consultancies in Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for 9 years e.g. WS ATKINS Dubai, Middle East headquarters and AEB, where he worked on the design of the 420m high DIFC lighthouse tower and many other towers. He worked as well at Engineering Consultant Group (ECG); more than 2,000 employee as a senior structural engineer where he was involved in the design of 600K sqm PPM residential and commercial compound. He was working in AEB; ‘Arab Engineering Bureau’ the top local firm in Qatar. He was responsible for the design parts of Doha Port project (20 of 65 Buildings), Doha Festival City; 250K sqm, and responsible for leading design team for Qatari Diar Headquarter; 20K sqm and 5 towers; approx.110 to 125 m high based on BIM system (Revit).
