Second suspect in Canada stabbings has died in police custody

Galway cannabis seizure


Two men have been arrested after gardaí seized €465,000 worth of drugs from their property in Ballygar, Co. Galway. There was €465,000 worthy of cannabis discovered on the property, and both men have since been charged, and are due to appear before Ballinasloe District Court.

Over 20,000 people have been moved to temporary shelters due to the threat of landslides and buildings collapsing in the mountainous region of Sichuan province. Rain is expected to last until at least Friday.
