My first experience involved an internship where I was part of a coworking space, event venue and resource hub called the CoLab Roanoke. Here, I was titled as their Social Media Manager. I participated in my internship with this business my last semester of college. Within this business, I finally had the chance to put all that I learned throughout college to work. As social media coordinator, there were many chances for me to research small business in the local area, network with individuals who were small business owners or entrepreneurs themselves, assist with event organization, and aid in the marketing of the CoLab as a new business.
