Programming & Development

Software and hardware developer

$5/hr Starting at $25

I have been programming since I was fifteen years old. (Now twenty eight). I have thirteen years of experience, seven or eight at a professional level. I have real world digital marketplace experience. I was heavily involved in software monetization so I also have a very well rounded understanding and talent when it comes to advertisement, user appeal and public relations. I built three successful companies and sold one several years ago. In the past I was better at making money than I was keeping it. haha. I deal nearly exclusively in desktop software/software installation systems but I am a generalist so I have a wide variety of talents, interests and skillsets. So I am also familiar with server architecture, programing, SQL databases, PHP, IT work, etc. One thing that I haven't gotten around to is Android device/ IPhone programming. Their coding language is Objective C so I am capable of the task but I am honestly unfamiliar with the subtle nuances of the devices coding requirements. I am very proud to say that I am 100% self taught but at the same time I will say that it has proven to be a problem in the past for major companies like Google etc. It would have been much more convenient if I had a piece of paper to alleviate potential partners/employers lack of trust in my abilities. But I believe my past accomplishments and business relationships speak for themselves. During the last 7 years I have worked/partnered with large brand name companies such as Hudson Exchange Group (Finance and advertising), Order Flow Analytics (stock market), WeatherBug (weather tracking), Jenkat Media (flash arcade games), Ubisoft (assassins creed online servers), Radix Software (documentation management) and finally my proudest achievement; Microsoft, specifically Bing! My company was contracted to advertise Bing.com.
