10+ years of experience in design, code-development, functionality and unit –testing of system and application software to meet the both functional and technical requirements for wire and wireless devices. Specialities: • Layer-2 Switch, Layer-3 Router and DSL/ADSL home router/gateways. • Experienced in writing TCP, UDP and Raw sockets network programming on Linux platform. • Good understanding of networking protocols, Linux TCP/IP stack and device drivers {Ethernet network drivers and Character drivers}. • Good in OS concepts like semaphores, shared memory and Linux module programming. • Hands on experience in debugging using GDB, Hands on experience using tcpdump, wireshark, netstat, and other tools for debugging and analysis, Debug tools, GDB, KDB, Valgrind. • Significant experience with GNU tool-chains, Make, and GIT version control system. • Tools and Utilities : Coverity, tcpdump, netstat and wire-shark. • Have good verbal, written communication skills and experienced working with geographically dispersed teams.
