Hello everyone, my name is Dwayne Brown, but I prefer to be called Dean. I have been working with computers since I was 9 years old learning BASIC, and have had a love relationship with them ever since. For the last 9 years, I have worked at start ups, healthcare companies, and even a car dealership, and have worked on a multitude of projects. I have recently "hung my own shingle" as it were, and have been very happy with the response. I focus primarily on .NET technologies, ranging from desktop applications to websites. I have also done some open source, mainly PHP and Tcl/Tk. Some of my projects include sites like a resort/scuba training site overseas that has both in English and Mandarin, a car dealership management system, healthcare processing for a large company, even a fishing guide group to help promote their businesses!! I have also developed desktop applications, using mainly C#, to help better clients who don't want their data spread all over the Internet. Mainly it has been simple projects that tie into others, time trackers for employees, a CSV Converter that ran on a twice a day scheduler, and even a fantasy football score tracker that used their website, developed by me, to push to their desktops and phones their current standings. I have a Double Bachelors in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship, which means that typically I am in charge of the code monkeys with a eye on the big picture. But I found that I was much happier using the coding skills I learned to meld with my dreams of my own business. I wholeheartedly love software, in so much that I am always trying to learn the newest tech to better help my clients achieve what they want to do.
