Looking for work building web applications. 6 years of experience--mostly writing services in Java with Spring Boot on top of many different SQL databases. Good with HTML and CSS. I've done projects in Angular 2 and Ruby on Rails. My most recent work has been with Kotlin as a Java alternative, and I love working with it. I have a BS in Computer Science with a Math minor. My most recent project was on a customer feedback platform. I designed the API, developed the services for configuring surveys and submitting responses (Kotlin with Spring Boot and JOOQ), developed a Ruby SDK to consume the services, and mentored a junior developer in creating the frontend (A couple of Rails apps). I spent 6 months modernizing a recruiting application for a government agency. I worked full stack in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Angular 2. Looking for up to 10 hours a week. I have a full time job, so my availability is nights and weekends.
