Hi, my name is Luis. If you need a CAD model, a mechanical design, engineering drawings, documentation or a photorealistic render, I can be helpful, but what I really would like to do is to help you bring your ideas to life, whether they are simple, or complex. That's my passion: Creating new things. I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, with 4 years of experience using Solidworks to design 3D parts and assemblies, produce documentation (such as manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, bill of materials, demostrative videos, etc) and validate designs using FEA and Motion Analysis. My job has been oriented to both automotive and industrial applications mainly, but also have experience in product design. Moreover, I have designed functional components that have been used in a racecar (the drivetrain and intake assemblies of the 2013, 2014 and 2015's vehicles), and I also have been in charge of the manufacturing process, so I have experience in optimizing materials and time, for both traditional manufacturing methods (i.e. CNC and manual mill, lathe, and other machines) and more advanced processes, such as 3D printing (SLS in ABS, Nylon 6 and PLA plastic) and composites (glass fiber). I am currently living in Caracas, Venezuela, but I can talk via skype or whatsapp at almost any hour if you are located in a different time zone.
