I am specialised in sustainable sportswear design and have worked 5 years in the industry designing for activewear companies and outdoor wear companies. I have freelanced on the side and full time for the past three years, within my freelancing role I have done everything from the initial designs, creation of tech packs to send to manufacturers and even to the production of the products - both in and outer house. This enables me to have a very clear idea of how a product can be brought to life from a 2D to a 3D format. I have extensive experience dealing with overseas manufacturers through technical pack creations and spec sheets, as well at pattern and garment making, therefore I know the detail and language that needs to go into tech packs and spec sheets in order for your idea to be best communicated, for the best outcome. I have also worked within the industry, for companies such as Hush clothing (London), Finisterre (Cornwall) and Zennor Bikini (Cornwall) - where I have followed through the whole design process from initial designs to end products, so I am aware of the attention to detail that needs to go into the design descriptions.
