• Creating and implementing disaster recovery plans like Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication, Clustering and Always On • Resolving SQL Server problems which involves in-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture, connectivity, DTS, backup/restore, database corruption, security etc • Creation and maintenance of Databases, creating Roles and managing user permissions. • Experience in setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining SQL Server Databases. • Installed and configured SQL clusters (active- active and active- passive) • Installed and configured AlwaysOn(New feature in SQL Server 2012) • Installed and configured SQL Server Mirroring • Installed and configured Log Shipping • On call support experience • Have 3+ years of experience in Sybase ASE administration, involved in Sybase ASE server installation in all environments. • Managing disk storage and capacity planning i.e. Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system. • Planning for backup and recovery of databases, Backing up and restoring the databases. • Generating optdiag reports and scheduling defragmentation of tables • Re-organization of indexes and tables and Re-compiling of Procedures. • Creating and managing Adaptive Server login accounts • Granting roles and permissions to Adaptive Server users • Use of sybase utilities.
