After learning psychologically what makes my customers WANT to purchase my item, and how to stand out from the competition, things fell into place. I made a series of small tweaks to my website, including implementing a dedicated, landing page, nurturing my leads by following up with them, and creating a visually appealing, intuitive to navigate website... The results were astounding. Not only was my traffic trusting my enough to purchase a $750, high ticket item, but I build a treasure trove of valuable leads, many of which I closed soon after they submitted an email subscription. I've since sold my business successfully after generating over $10,000 in revenue within a month of my official launch date. Soon after, I learned how to rank my site using the four pillars of Search Engine Optimization: relevance, craw lability, engagement and authority. All of the typical on-page SEO advice given (header tags, alt tags, image file names, proper H1, H2, etc.) helps crawlability (Google's ability to index your website), yes, but Google uses over 100 factors in determining search engine rankings, and as it turns out, the most heavily weighted factors (#1 being average time spent by the users on your pages, #2 being the bounce rate) have nothing to do with your source code.
