Imani Johnson has been developing customized strategic marketing campaigns since she began her career in media sales 15 years ago. During her career, she has worked closely with companies such as Diageo, Ashley Stewart, LVMH, The New York Fire Department and political campaigns to help achieve key marketing objectives by developing campaigns that engaged target consumers. During her time working in the non-profit sector, she developed a customized cause marketing strategy for ING that met the objective of building awareness around the importance for young people to set financial goals for retirement at the beginning of their career. Imani holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications/Marketing, M.A. in Media Management/Marketing and an Executive MBA. It’s her experience with creating, developing and executing digital and social media strategies that allows her to serve as an adjunct giving her students real world assignments that prepare them for the workforce. Because of her ability to take a client’s challenge and turn it around so it can be viewed from an enlightening angle, paired with a keen sense of discovering the emotional aspect of challenges a client may have, Imani leads with empathy and individualism enhancing her commitment to developing a strategy that provide solutions and get results.
