I approach raising money for early-stage tech companies like I would landing major corporate (enterprise) customers, as the process that it is: we set goals, outline a successful strategy, identify who we are raising money from, prepare a fundraising workflow, prepare all of the necessary fundraising collateral (including pitch decks, business plan, one-pager, executive summary, online profiles, etc.) and finally we execute the strategy.
