• AIX administration: AIX installation, migration, cloning, restoration, software installation, users/groups management, scheduling, network configuration, disk configuration (LVM), printing, security implementations, performance tuning , update/upgrade firmware and microcode of systems, devices and HMC • Brocade and IBM switches (initialization, management, hard & soft zoning and creating fabrics/ISLs) • Storage virtualization (SAN Volume Controller) to create arrays, RAID, extent pools and volumes to map them to hosts. • Configure SAN boot, VSCSI for storage to LPAR mapping, NPIV for Tape Drives, etherchannel for maximum bandwidth, SEA for external network and V-LAN. • Migration of p595 VIOS and LPAR’s to IBM power 770 with LPM technology. • Worked on IBM p550, p590, p595, p770, & IBM Blades. • Experience in Working on AIX LVM. • IBM Power VM experience including setup and management of VIO Servers and partitions • System Administration of Linux, AIX, windows servers •• Storage management of EMC symmetric DMX-4 950 and IBM XIV Storage. • Perform DR migration activity with all production machines/servers including FC switches and storages • Manage and configure VIO LPAR’s and partitions. • Good understanding and worked on NIM, NFS, HACMP, GPFS, DNS and HMC. • To monitor performance of system & daily performance monitoring reports • Configuration IL0-2 of HP-UX DL380G5 and HP-UX DL580G5. • Implement Exadata installation and configuration and PAT activity. • Perform PAT activity after completion of project.
