I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Anthropology in 2008, my Master of Elementary Education degree from Boston University in 2011, and I am currently working toward my Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction at Kansas State University. Additionally, I am a certified teacher in the state of Massachusetts and Kansas with an endorsement in ESOL in Kansas. I have extensive experience developing curriculum and assessing the effectiveness of class offerings, and I am very familiar with the learning process. I also enjoy the process of putting together content. In my previous position as Learning and Development Coordinator at Kansas State University I developed online content with the help of subject-matter experts and assessed the effectiveness of both online and in-person training offerings offered through Human Resources. Outside of education, my educational background is in anthropology. Because of my experience in the social sciences, I am very comfortable teaching and developing content in, all subject areas. I believe my education has made me a generalist, which is a strength in any educational setting.
