I am a US-licensed physician with clinical experience in General Surgery and Family Practice with training, experience, and a passion for all aspects of health information technology. I received formal training in the field of public health informatics at the CDC. My experience has been quite broad, and has included the domains of health IT policy, standards, research, education, evaluation, and applications and services. I have been a columnist for a national medical magazine, as well as an on-air computer consultant for Fox News in Houston Tx. In addition I have been on the editorial board of a medical computer magazine.
