The full story of the mermaid mummy

$5/hr Starting at $25

Biologists settled the controversy over the truth about the 300-year-old "mermaid" mummy, and the Japanese worshiped it in the belief that it had the ability to grant immortality.

According to legend, this mummy has the ability to grant immortality, and during the Corona pandemic, some were praying to it to protect it from the threat of the deadly virus.

Scientists questioned the truth of this mummy, and they believed at first that it was just a fish tail that was placed under the body of one of the mammals.

The "Daily Mail" newspaper said that scientists conducted a recent study that proved that the mummified mermaid, which was worshiped by some in Japan, is nothing more than a fake installation consisting of cloth, paper and other things.

The newspaper explained that this artificial shape was produced due to the Japanese fascination with mermaids.

After subjecting the mummified mermaid to a CT scan to find out the truth, the final results appeared, which scientists described as a "surprise."

Scientists found that most of the upper part of the supposed mummy was made of cloth, cloth and cotton.

"If you visualize it normally, you'll think it's a mixture, the bottom part is a fish and the top part is a monkey," said Hiroshi Kinoshita of the Okayama Heritage Society, one of the lead authors on the study.

"The examination showed that this was not the truth. What we know now is that the lower half of the body is a fish, but the upper half is not a mammal," he added.
