Rosie Gilchrist, founder of Rosie's corner on Burn Lane, in Hexham is worried that the clothes and children's charity may close if no new trustees are appointed by February 16.


4 77-year-old woman who died in crash named by police


A woman who died after a crash in Haltwhistle has been named.


It comes as the family of 77-year-old Victoria Blair share a picture of her.


5 Wentworth car park to close for resurfacing and road marks for new layout


Wentworth car park in Hexham will be getting a new look and will be closed between 9pm until 6am on February 10, 11 and 12.


The work consists of resurfacing the car park in some areas and putting new road markings on the ground.


6 When the teen charged with the murder of Holly Newton will next appear in court


A teenager charged with the murder of Holly Newton is expected to enter a plea in three weeks' time.


The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a knife.

The funeral of Holly Newton, 15, will be held at Hexham Abbey.


A service celebrating Holly's short life will take place on Friday, February 17 at 11am.
