THE HISTORY OF ROBOTS

$25/hr Starting at $25

Robots are present in our daily lives, even if indirectly, starting with automated teller machines, calculators, and even complex ones, including robots used in factories and robots that have been designed similar to humans. Until this year, a specific definition of robots has not been set, but one of the definitions that has been agreed upon is that robots Robotics is a “machine programmed by humans capable of automatically performing a series of complex actions.” Robotics design is a branch of science and engineering that makes use of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science skills to design and build robots. The word Robot was first used in the 1912 play R.U.R by Czech playwright Karel Čapek, and originally the word Robot is a Czech word for robota, which means forced labor. In 1928, a humanoid robot called Eric was demonstrated at the annual Model Society of Engineers in London. Eric gave a speech while moving his hands, arms and head. Since then, a lot of robots have been invented, and we will present the most famous robots that were recently announced in detail in the coming lines.

THE ROBOT SOFIA :

Invented by Hanson Robotics, Sophia was first shown on Southwest Show in March 2016 and since then she has become somewhat of a media celebrity, and also had the opportunity to give a speech at the United Nations and a lot of important TV shows. The most important thing that distinguishes it is that it is very similar to a human in terms of shape and trying to simulate the way of human thinking and has a lot of human facial expressions such as joy, anger, laughter and the ability to make intelligent comments, and is able to track and recognize faces, look at people directly and stare at them, and hold natural conversations And intelligent interaction through smart responses. In 2017, Saudi Arabia announced that it was granting citizenship to Sophia, thus becoming the first robot to hold a citizenship like a human citizen is the first robot in history to be recognized as a citizen by a country.
