As a freelance translator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and high-quality translations for a variety of clients. Responsibilities:

• Translate written materials from one language to another while maintaining the meaning and intent of the original content

• Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and completeness

• Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to

• Research industry-specific terminology and maintain knowledge of language trends

• Collaborate with other translators and editors to ensure consistency across translated content

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to client inquiries and feedback

Requirements:

• Fluency in at least two languages, including proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking

• Proven work experience as a translator, preferably in a freelance setting

• Excellent writing and communication skills in both source and target languages

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while meeting tight deadlines
