I am a professional translator native in English and Turkish and I have a native-like proficiency in Spanish as I lived in Spain for a long time. I am based in the Netherlands and I do thorough translations between any of my language pairs (English-Spanish, English-Turkish and vice versa) I have 5 years of experience working as a translator. I have two university degrees in Translation & Interpreting and Psychology. I also do creative writing/editing in English and simultaneous interpreting. My areas of expertise are the following: I particularly specialize in literary translations. I am currently translating a novel from Spanish into English. So far, I have translated four technical books on architecture, advertising and history. All four have been published and I continue doing freelance book translations for the publishing house I have been working with since 2011. I am personally interested in reading and literature and I love writing. I like creating texts that reflect this love that I feel for literature whether I am translating, writing or editing.
