I am a native French and German speaker and fluent in English (IELTS 8.0 in 2009). I have been doing translation work in these three languages for the past ten years and in the context of my professional work for the past two years. My strength is the translation of studies and academic documents, but I also have some experience translating technical guidelines and manuals. My weakness are texts containing a lot of youth slang (e.g. "verlan" in French) since I grew up mostly in Germany. I charge a minimum rate of $15/hour, but adjust this rate upwards depending on the difficulty and size of the document that is to be translated.
