Trial preparation includes preparation of trial binders, case research, exhibits, visual aids, offers of proof, evidence charts, and much more. Trial assistance includes court appearances to assist attorneys during hearings and trial in client and trial administrative management and jury and courtroom observation. Trial preparation and assistance is billed at a mixed rate. Work that is purely administrative in nature is billed at $15.00/hour, whereas substantive work and trial assistance is billed at $35.00/hour.
