I am a New Zealand based writer offering a wide range of skills in many different areas. Having a background that includes social services, the building and construction industry sector , creative writing and poetry . I have published works and am currently working on several pieces for another New Zealand writer Rochelle Mclay . Having a tertiary education in environmental sciences and a lifelong interest in literature and history I have become incredibly adept at researching. In order to provide credible content and fact-based accuracy to any subject matter, research is an essential component to any written work. I pride myself in providing rich colourful wordscapes while keeping a non-repetitive continuity of flow to any piece, with well-structured and easy to follow writing for all potential readers regardless of ability. I have a solid general knowledge and possess a talent for condensing targeted subject specific “jargon facts and figures” into everyday language or “laymans terms” while still retaining the core information in order to reach a wider audience base. I write poetry both for fun and as well as commissioned pieces. With the ability to pen substantial and meaningful works on virtually any subject at the drop of a hat, often times my mind is creating verses several steps in, ahead, and at a speed at which my fingers on the keyboard are working overtime to keep up. I can also be found on social media platforms, regularly creating meaningful dialogue on many issues that I have a particular passion for particularly around social responsibility , self-improvement , support groups and more defined subjects such as meteorology, geotechnical study, oceanography and anything related to surfing . My overall goal as a writer is to create well written and meaningful work that has the ability to not only convey information ,ideas and feelings, but can reach through the fabric of all society and inform , touch and change my audience in a positive way . To use my talent, drive and enthusiasm to deliver something that is not just good but great. To add to the world in any small way possible by creating a narrative of hope and understanding which individually and collectively becomes part of a dialogue for change to the betterment of all peoples.
