I have 20 years experience in software development, principally using Perl but also PHP Javascript, Ajax, Java, Unix shell and others. Along the way I've been a Systems Administrator, a support lead, a Website designer and a Business Analyst. I used to be a full-time freelancer so have been exposed to many different clients and varying requirements over more than a decade. Now I am employed but am missing the variety of tasks that freelancing brings. I'm not looking to get back into it full-time, just something to keep going with coding and software development which I miss and that I'm very good at. I've run out of things to do on my home-based systems - they are all very nicely looking after themselves.
